  • Is there any reservation for women?
  • Yes, 30% of the total scheme fund is reserved for women in each social category.

  • How many applications can a I submit?
  • Earlier, farmer had to apply separate application for each scheme. Now, the department is providing the facility to farmers to apply for various components through a single application. This application will be considered for all the schemes in an online lottery system. Farmers must select the components of their choice from the components on the portal and include them in the application and then the farmer must click on 'Submit Application' button. Hence, a single application will be prepared for all the components/ schemes of Agriculture Department. Thus, a farmer can submit only one application.
  • I have agricultural land in multiple talukas/ districts. Will I have to submit separate applications for each taluka?
  • No. You must choose the component of your choice and select respective land in the taluka wherever the component is required. Your application will be considered for respective taluka/ district.
  • I have agricultural land in multiple villages in same taluka. Will I have to submit separate application for each village?
  • No. You must choose the component of your choice and select respective land in a village wherever the component is required. Your single application will be considered for respective land in the taluka..
  • Do I have to apply separately for each component?
  • No. As a farmer can submit only one application he must include all the components of his choice in a single application.
  • How many components can I add in an application?
  • You can add as many components of your choice in a single application..
  • I have submitted an application for a component. Can I submit another application for same component?
  • No. farmers are supposed to include all the components of his choice in the single application.
  • I have submitted an application for a component. Can I submit another application for different components?
  • No. However, you will have to delete your previous application and you may make a fresh application with components of your choice. For a fresh application, you must pay application fee again. However, this facility is available before the deadline.
  • Can I edit my application once it is submitted?

  • Can I edit my profile after submitting my application?
  • No, you cannot edit your profile until your application is under process or in the waitlist.
  • I am not selected in lottery for this year and my application is in the waiting list. Will I have to apply again for the same component in next year?
  • In next year, you can either give option to consider last year’s application or can also make a fresh application. In both the cases, you will to pay the application fee.
  • How much application fee will be charged for an application?
  • You must pay an application fee of Rs. XX including GST before submitting the application on the MahaDBT portal. The payment is to be made using online mode of transfer.
  • Will I have to pay for each component added in my application?
  • No. Application fee is being charged per application. You can apply only once and can add as many components of your choice in the single application. Hence, only one application will be submitted consisting all component and application fee will be paid only once.
  • I have deleted my previous application. Will I have to pay again for new application?
  • Yes. If you delete your application and apply again then you will have to pay application fee again.
  • I have deleted my application. Will I get a refund of the application fee?
  • No. Application fee is non-refundable. Hence, it is an advised that farmers must choose all the components of their choice in one go and thereafter submit the application.
  • How will I get the subsidy?
  • Subsidy will be disbursed to the farmer’s bank account which is linked to Aadhar number at the time of subsidy disbursement.
  • Will my application get rejected if I do not complete work within the duration given in the pre-sanction letter?
  • No. In such case, your pre-sanction will get cancelled and you will not get the benefit as mentioned in the pre-sanction letter. However, your application will not be rejected but will be kept at the end of the wait list.
  • Is GST number and invoice number compulsory while I upload bills/ invoice on the MahaDBT portal?
  • Yes. Bills/ invoices with GST number is mandatory. Hence, it is advised to make sure that the concerned dealer/ vendor provides bills/ invoices having a GST number.
  • Can the subsidy differ from the one stated in the pre-sanction letter?
  • Yes. Subsidy given in the pre-sanction letter is indicative and actual subsidy may differ based on factors such as area, actual invoice/ bill, component specifications, government approved rates and ceiling limits, etc.
  • I want to upload documents on the MahaDBT portal, but the size of my documents is more than 1 MB. How can I upload the documents?
  • You will have to reduce the size of the documents as per the requirement mentioned on the MahaDBT portal.
  • Will I have to submit any documents during the application?
  • No. Farmer will have to submit the relevant documents after getting selected in an online lottery. List of documents required will be displayed in the ‘Upload documents’ section on the MahaDBT portal
  • Does a farmer from SC/ ST category has to submit caste certificate?
  • Yes, a caste certificate issued by a competent authority must be submitted on the MahaDBT portal.
  • Which documents related to agriculture land will I have to submit on the portal?
  • Farmer needs to upload latest 7/12 extract and 8A extract issued within last 6 months
  • How beneficiaries will be selected?
  • Software based lottery system will be used for selection of beneficiaries. Results of the lottery will be valid only for the current financial year
  • Will my application get rejected if I am not selected in the lottery?
  • No. Your application will not get rejected but it will be kept in the waitlist.
